Fees and Medicare Rebates

Fee and rebate figures last updated: October 2026 (Medicare rebate effective 1 July 2026).

Our fees

Our current fee for new clients is $260 per standard 50-minute telehealth psychology session.

Fees for clinical supervision for psychologists are provided on enquiry. Make an enquiry.

How we set our fees

We review our fees annually, considering operating costs, compliance requirements, available Medicare rebates and the Australian Psychological Society (APS) National Schedule of Suggested Fees. To keep mental health support accessible, our rates are set lower than the suggested fees.

Medicare rebates

Medicare rebates may be available if your GP refers you for psychological support, usually under a Mental Health Treatment Plan.

With a referral for psychological support under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, rebates may be available for an initial 6 sessions, with up to 10 sessions per calendar year. From 1 July 2026, the Medicare rebate (benefit) for a standard session with a clinical psychologist under a Mental Health Treatment Plan is $149.05.

If you have a GP referral for psychological support, we can submit your Medicare claim on your behalf. If Medicare approves the claim, they will pay the rebate to you. For a Mental Health Treatment Plan session, this would reduce your out-of-pocket cost to $110.95. Medicare rebates do not apply to missed appointments.

Don't have a Mental Health Treatment Plan?

Your GP can prepare one with you. See Mental Health Treatment Plans for how it works.

Other ways to pay

  • Without a referral: you can attend as a private client, but Medicare rebates won't apply.

  • Private health insurance: we invoice you directly as a private client, and you then seek reimbursement from your insurer under your policy. We recommend checking your cover with your insurer first.

  • NDIS: we see NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed.

  • WorkCover: we can provide psychological support for people funded by a WorkCover claim.
